The costs of the genetic consultations are reimbursed in accordance with the CNS procedure. The invoiced amount strictly follows the applicable CNS tariffs.

The practice provides genetic consultations and testing and is focused on the following main areas:

- Clinical Genetics: Seeks to identify the precise genetic cause in affected (diagnostic testing) or at-risk individuals (predictive testing).

- Oncogenetics: Relevant for patients with a cancer diagnosis and/or family history of cancer. The identification of disease-causing genetic variants can potentially lead to targeted or personalized treatment or surveillance options.

- Reproductive Genetics:
1) IVF (FIV) / PMA consultation in case of a known or suspected genetic condition or carriership
2) Preconception carrier screening: Provides healthy couples or individuals with a risk probability of having a child with certain monogenic conditions.

- Preventive medicine:
Based on a genetic screening that provides healthy individuals, without a family history, information about their chance of having a genetic condition that is medically actionable or where preventive steps can be triggered (according to ACMG guidelines).
